Gorgeous property right in the jungle - absolutely amazing setting. Very welcoming hosts. The Cabin was really clean and the outdoor kitchen was pretty cool. The beds were very comfortable. There was an information booklet in the cabin which had an amazing range of activities, which you can book with the hosts.

All cabins in Sarapiquí

Looking for a cabin?

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

Beautiful location and setting - so peaceful immersed in the jungle. We loved the cabin and the hot showers, and we loved our guided walks.

We had an amazing time at Yatama. Pedro was very attentive, knowlegeable and so pasionate about the forest and conservation as were all the staff. We went on one day walk and two night walks through the jungle which we loved and also were able to go unguided on the trials. We saw snakes, frogs, monkeys, birds and a kinkajou. The cabins are basic but that feels part of the whole experience in such a remote setting however the food was excellent.

We picked Gran Gavilan as a stop over on our way from Arenal to the Caribbean. For that it was absolutely the right place. It is an assembly of cabins that are located in a beautiful garden directly at the river. There are a few walking paths in the jungle and you can watch numerous birds in the garden. The cabins are basic but have everything you need, incl. mosquito net. Just do not expect luxury. Dinner and breakfast were good. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
