I liked the kindness of the family. It was a working farm and they allowed us to share that experience with our young children which made their holiday, the beds were so comfy and the hot tub was amazing..whole experience was brilliant..we all had the hats on pretending to be real cow boys.

Beautiful cosy cabin in a lovely secluded setting. Lots of attention to detail that made it extra special. Really well equipped and the outdoor bath and chiminea on the veranda were lovely touches. Very welcoming hosts and we felt very relaxed and at home.

The cabin is on the ground of the host and all is situated on a quiet road, so it is really peaceful. I was able to do a lot of walks in the area. Hans is a very helpful host, who really cares about his guests!

Fantastic experience of off grid but not off grid. A wonderful cabin in the woods with exceptional amenities, decor and views. A complete get away from it all property. The bath on the verandah was wonderful, relaxing as you listen to the babbling of the burgh by candlelight. Very clean, cosy and just what we needed. Only 10 miles outside of Glasgow. Douglas was a wonderful host, very welcoming. We loved the visit every morning from the cockerel and hens. We can highly recommend staying here.

Overall, a wonderful stay at The Raven's Cliff lodge! My family stayed here for a week in two rooms which were quiet, comfortable and affordable. The restaurant was particularly terrific...the food was very tasty and filling! We ate many breakfasts and dinners here, the omelets were superb! Enjoyed getting to know the restaurant staff, and John in the mornings was especially friendly and hospitable! Highly recommend staying here to all who travel with families!
