For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

The location was stunning. The view amazing. The cabin was so comfortable it was hard to leave. The bed was fantastic, there were coffee and tea making facilities and a heater for the cold damp nights. The hosts were fabulous and helpful. We ate in the hotel attached and the food was delicious with a warm welcome.

The location is stunning, and the food they provide is always high standard. The chalets have the feel of camping with the facilities of a hotel, beds, kettle, communal kitchen with cooming facilities etc, shower rooms and toilets.

It is a beautiful, picturesque place that you can't describe its charm. Situated just next to a bar with great food, it is a nice place for either a base for hillwalking or just relaxing. Bear in mind, it is a small cabin just for a night of sleep.

It was very dirty and a shambles. In the toilets for the cabins, tiles were missing. Inside, the taps were broken and barely working. No hand towels either. The separate showers were better, but both doors into the them were broken, and one didn't shut at all. The entrance to the hotel was very untidy, and there were detritus littered all over the place.
The staff were good but overwhelmed with it all.
It wasn't a great advertisement for all the people from abroad walking the West Highland Way.

The cabin had a funny smell to it which I expect from a wooden cabin but it didn't smell clean. Weren't allowed to make fires outside so can't do that at night if you are looking to. Not much of a view from the cabins either they are all close to each other and hidden by trees.
