We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were available and on hand to answer questions. Lots of fun to be had with all the games at the property and loved the quirk of the bus!

To stay in a cabin is always a tricky thing. On one hand it's a very nice nomadic experience, but sometimes it can get too nomadic :) I can safely say that in case of this cabin it was just the perfect experience. It was actually very reminiscent to an Alpine ski resort lodge. I very much like the Japanese vibe the room transpired and the warm cosy atmosphere. The bathroom is separate from the main room with Japanese paper sliding doors, which I liked very much, and I've never stayed in any accommodation having that before. I'm still puzzled, how can other people renting this cabin rip the paper from the frames, ruining this delicate thing. I mean ...it shouldn't be that hard to slide the doors without ruining it! Anyway... Some people wrote it was cold, I promise, with the heater installed, you'd even have to turn it off for the night. It was perfectly working and warming up the place. Transportation to Oxford can work either with your car, or also with public buses from the nearby university station. Staying in this cosy cabin is highly recommended!

The room was very clean and there are cleaners coming every second day or so to keep the common area in order. The property has all the amenities you can think of including iron board and clothes drying rack and cooking facilities to name a few. Walking distance to Oxford city centre.

The location to Woodstock and the Cotswolds is unbeatable. Having a morning walk along the footpaths that lead from the lodges into the Palace grounds was amazing, wildlife of deer, rabbits and pheasants in clear view. The lodges are well appointed with an outside seating area and very new facilities with onsite parking.

The lodge was lovely and spacious. It was impeccably clean, and everything was well kept and attractive. They provided us with plenty of towels, a hairdryer, toilet rolls and several fans. The beds were comfortable in all rooms and the main bedroom had a balcony overlooking fields and horses. There was a very large cupboard/walk-in wardrobe which was great to store all our clothes and luggage. The garden was fully fenced/enclosed, which was perfect for us to let the dog run around in. We all loved the lodge and would be happy to stay here again.
