The owners were extremely friendly made us feel welcome. The country location is beautiful . Close to the Lakes District ,close to a lovely country pub where we enjoyed a meal.

I had a fabulous stay at this lodge which is truly stunning and very comfortable especially the bed which was so cosy . It is probably the best equipped self catering accomodation i have ever stayed in with all the mod cons and equipment that you would need. I was privileged to be the first guest to stay in this new Lodge and was greeted with a wonderful welcome pack which was a lovely surprise. There are beautiful views from the Lodge and its location is well placed for easy access to both Carlisle and Penrith. The site is on the 104 bus route which has a regular service from Carlisle to Penrith and Center Parks. I felt so at home in the Lodge and didnt want to leave, it really was my happy place at a time when i really needed it. Thank you Steve and Susanna you are amazing hosts.

loved the whole thing, beautiful place, loads of peacocks and ponies onsite, the Nosh restaurant is outstanding, food was just amazing, place spotless, staff lovely and super friendly and welcoming. we had a fabulous time here. didn't expect it to be so good and great value for money and felt very safe and lovely for kids. we will definitely be back.

Me and my wife wanted a relaxing stay and picked Sunset Snug Shepherd Hut and we are so glad we did. We played cards until late evening and watched the sun set over the fields. We got to make use of the fire pit and the Log Burner inside the Hut, which made for an atmospheric evening. The faculties are amazing with a shower, microwave, hob and everything you need, you’d be hard pressed to get batter facilities in a 5 star hotel. The bed was very comfy and we even had Netflix to cosy up and watch our favourite shows. The host was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.
