This is an amazing little hideaway. Beautiful views, and all so well thought out with stylish interiors. Great use of space inside the huts with everything you would need. Lovely welcome hamper on arrival. Our two children are 9 and 13 and managed fine in the bunk beds. They loved staying here and lit the outdoor fire both nights. We had gorgeous weather and used the bbq and outdoor space alot. We were so lucky to be one of the first customers at the Roost. Great and useful communication from the hosts. I’m sure this place will be booked up very quickly. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Wow! Absolutely beautifully appointed cottage with stunning views. 5 minutesto town centre. We were pleasantly surprised by a welcome basket and fresh flowers. Highly recommended.

Beautiful lodge in a little town, was perfect for a weekend getaway but I would recommend staying longer! Rooms and ensuites were clean and the staff were very nice and accomodating. They offer packed lunches if you plan to go for a long walk one day. There are heaps of walks to do in the area.

The lodge was comfortable, very relaxing, quiet, everything worked. Kitchen was well equipped. Showers were excellent. Complimentary cleaning pack was a nice surprise as I had forgotten dishwasher tablets (Thank You) Beaches a short walk 5mins. And Salcome is also an easy walk. Buses to Kingsbridge/Totnes are once an hour. Closest bus stop is 10 mins walk uphill. National Trust property Overbecks can be driven too there is parking, but we walked and enjoyed the sea views (North sands, South sands and up to Overbecks, round the gardens there and on up to the walkers cabin at east soar for coffee and cake. A very enjoyable day out.

Beautiful views over the North Sands beach, elegant and spacious flat with large sunny terrace. Flat well equipped including with board games and tennis rackets for a tennis court which was 2 min away. We enjoyed bikes and golf nearby and lots of children activities on nearby beaches. Salcombe is a lovely postcard village with shops and cafes. Good communication with the owner who advised hikes to Bolt head and afternoon tea. Enjoyed our stay!
