Cabins in Thurso

Located halfway between John O'Groats & Thurso, a hidden gem, Wayne the host is a wealth of information & could not be more welcoming. There are 2 pubs located 5 minutes away, we had dinner at the Northern Sands, excellent meals. Would have stayed longer if time permitted, if you're looking for peace & quiet Celtic Lodges is perfect. Highly recommend.

Spacious, lovely decor, very clean and very comfortable

I had a wonderful stay. The room was warm, cosy, and spotless, with comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. I really appreciated their eco-friendly approach — no wasteful disposable toiletries or packaging, just high-quality products in hygienic dispensers. The staff were lovely, everything ran smoothly, and the cooked breakfast was excellent. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it!

The place is neat and clean, everything we need are provided for. Clear instructions of how to get to the place and how to use the facilities were provided upfront. A tad cramped for a family of 5 but I think it’d be comfortable for a group of 4. BBQ hut in the location is an awesome idea! The hut is in the middle of a farm, very quiet and we loved the view! Beds were good!

What is not to like! The property was beautiful and had the most amazing views in a peaceful and tranquil setting. The lodge was spotless, beautifully furnished and very cosy. To look out of the full glass aspect over the fields of barley towards dunnet head was just amazing. We had deers in the fields, hares, rabbits and plenty of other wildlife to watch while enjoying the view. The lodge was equipped with everything we needed and more to make a perfect base for our family break. We had great communication with the owners throughout and a warm welcome on arrival. Christine went over everything with us and the information booklet provided was comprehensive and full of tips and ideas whilst in the area. Great location for dunnet beach, Thurso, John o groats and more. We took a ferry over to Orkney as well which made the trip even more special. I cannot recommend this property any more highly… stunning lodge, stunning views, peaceful, well equipped and fantastic hosts. Thank you and we will certainly be visiting again!
