The property was all self contained and had plenty of space. It was very clean and the owner provided some amenities to assist you during your stay. It is in a great location, close to Ballyshannon Town. Road access and parking easy. It is a quiet location. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it.

The cabin is lovely, warm, and cozy — fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. I was welcomed with a beautiful basket of food, breakfast goodies and even a creamy, delicious pint of Guinness offered by Sean. Angie and Sean are incredible hosts with such contagious joy and kindness. It was a real pleasure to meet them. I also loved their three adorable alpacas — they’re so cute! I wish I could have stayed longer, but due to my tight schedule I couldn’t. However, I’ll definitely recommend this place to all my friends and to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway.

Fantastic home stay. A reasonably priced, really warm and comfortable large house. Great kitchen, living room and bathrooms. Plenty for five guests. Daniel kindly put the fire on for us when we went for dinner. Helped us arrange taxis and nothing was too much trouble. Highly Recommend Brookfield lodge.

What is an outstanding positive for me is that after the 2-week 500km pilgrimage so far, it was resolved at my request that I would not have to sleep on top of the bunk bed. I was able to spend 2 wonderful days in a very friendly environment.
