Unique and gorgeous property. You meet interesting and like minded travellers at the communal meals and the staff make you feel at home immediately. The food is excellent, hearty made to order breakfast with freshly squeezed juices and lovely multi course dinners made from fresh local ingredients. The grounds, views, location are so beautiful, isolated and unique. A relaxing place to unplug, read and recharge. The walks/hikes around the property, surrounding area and the fish hatchery are lovely. We weren't there during fishing season but the hikes and the recommended local driving loops are excellent. Read the binder for great info about the area and a chuckle. The closest town is about a 20 min challenging (winding narrow roads, sheep, breathtaking scenery) drive, so not for people looking for 'action' but rather for those seeking quiet and interesting conversation over drinks in the evenings.

Lovely and peaceful setting. Beautiful view of the night sky, sunset and sunrise (weather dependant). Close enough to Westport without being in the thick of it all. Maria elevates this little home from home with her personal touches, who knew how entertaining leaving us Connect4 could be. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm back this way and I plan to come back very soon. Also...most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!

This is a hidden gem. The house is luxe without being intimidating. The view is spectacular. The staff are lovely without being intrusive. Thoroughly recommend. I actually don't think the photos do justice to the place (which is the opposite of most listings). It is even more special and beautiful in person. I didn't try the dinner but wish I had.

Fantastic location, overlooking the Fjord and mountains. Stunning scenery whichever way you drive. The host went above and beyond to help make our stay special, even having the piano tuned for me! The cabin itself is even better than the photos. We were blown away! Everything is very comfortable and the views from the open plan living area and master bedroom are just wonderful. We were very sad to leave this special place.
