The property was all self contained and had plenty of space. It was very clean and the owner provided some amenities to assist you during your stay. It is in a great location, close to Ballyshannon Town. Road access and parking easy. It is a quiet location. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it.

Fantastic home stay. A reasonably priced, really warm and comfortable large house. Great kitchen, living room and bathrooms. Plenty for five guests. Daniel kindly put the fire on for us when we went for dinner. Helped us arrange taxis and nothing was too much trouble. Highly Recommend Brookfield lodge.

What is an outstanding positive for me is that after the 2-week 500km pilgrimage so far, it was resolved at my request that I would not have to sleep on top of the bunk bed. I was able to spend 2 wonderful days in a very friendly environment.

You couldn’t fault the place. Even the dog had a great time, as an ecologist I didn’t expect to see the deers in the adjacent field but it made the trip. We went a babymoon when I was 35 week pregnant. Now it wasn’t ideal for me in my condition (my own fault no fault of the place or host) but it was the best weekend away in Ireland we have had. The cabin is cozy and for the first time ever we were wishing for rain when we were away as it sounds of it hitting the cabin was so relaxing. My partner really enjoyed the hot tub, which is easy to work and ready to go at all times. Even the shower was amazing.
