The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped with utensils for self catering. The laundry was a bonus not having to find a laundromat in town. The views of the lakes and mountains from across the road were stunning.

This place is very special, it was very well furnished/decorated. Just far enough from town that it is peaceful and quiet. Our hosts were the nicest people who were very helpful anytime we needed anything. The bed was very comfortable, and had a nice shower also. Would highly recommend staying here.

The Red Fox lodge is right behind the Red Fox Inn on the main road leading to the Ring of Kerry and near the town of Glenbeigh. One of the selling points was that it was right next to the Inn, unfortunately, we were disappointed to find out the Inn did not serve food, drinks only. It was close to the Towers pub in Glenbeigh that did serve great food. The lodge was as advertised, beds comfortable, and kitchen well equipped. It is a two bathroom home; one bath very well updated; other bath had an open shower, sink, and toliet; interesting layout but useful. Washer and dryer was great! We would definitely stay again.
