I can't recommend Thistledown Lodge enough. Martin & Enda made us feel welcome from the first minute on. The lodge is very stylish. Our room was very clean, well equipped, comfortable & quiet. The cooked vegetarian breakfast was excellent - it's always a plus if there are vegan/vegetarian options apart from muesli&yogurt. The place also has a very spacious outdoor-gym and a cosy sitting-area to enjoy drink or two. :)

The room and bathroom were absolutely spotless. The decor and bathroom looked brand new. Very quiet and private. Beds were really comfy and very handy check in. It's so convenient having a bistro and bar onsite. You can even get a decent breakfast from 10am onwards. Location is excellent and the price is very reasonable. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the great hospitality and Niall is very good to check up on us to see if all was well with our stay.

Fantastic cute little cottage. Rooms and bathroom a bit smaller but suited us for our one night stay. Host has thought and provided everything that is needed from toothpaste, washing capsules for washing machine to breakfast. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Loved our stay.

We couldn’t have met a nicer host than Sandy . We received a message prior to our arrival asking what time we hoped to arrive . This was so the heating was on and the apartment were lovely and warm when we arrived ! There was a tray of scones sitting on the kitchen table , brown soda bread , brown bread , lovely Tayto crisps and fresh fruit . It’s not too often you get that on arrival . Very much appreciated . Very easy assessing the building with our key code , very clean apartment and bedrooms were very clean and comfortable . A lovely location near the main road . Overall A perfect host and property .

Superb cottage with everything you could possibly need. A wonderful blend of rustic charm but with all mod cons such as dishwasher and washing machine. The grounds are beautiful, extremely well maintained but also a wildflower area that was buzzing with wildlife. Peaceful and quiet but only 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Tramore Paul and Stephanie were lovely hosts and extremely responsive Will definitely book again
