As the lodge was not available, we were upgraded to a tower suite and given access to spa facilities for the day of checkout. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and modern. It was also very convenient to be able to order bread for the morning. Owner Gerda was most helpful in advising on the best hiking routes and local restaurants. We had a problem with our rental car and Gerda's help was invaluable in resolving the situation. I cannot thank her enough!
