If you want to stay on Etna, somewhere quiet and peaceful, this is the place! It is 30 minutes drive to the nearest town with stores/cafes etc to get supplies (the tap water isn't drinkable by the way!) There is lots of good walking through the woods and amazing views of the volcano. The chalet is extremely comfortable and the mattress was perfect!! Marco was extremely helpful, we arrived early and he made the effort to give us access remotely before he could arrive to show us everything personally. We loaded up on firewood and spent 2 days sitting by the fire, and had several visits from the local fox, who is quite timid but very cute and always looking for food! Electricity, WiFi, hot water, heating etc all perfect.

The place is quite accessible, and has all the charm of a cabin under Etna. The grounds are very spacious, great for our dog to run around freely. The cabin was clean and had all amenities. There were even outdoor games for the kids and had sunbeds with cushions and wood logs already cut for the fire. The owner was super nice and very helpful and could easily get in touch with him. We had a wonderful time there, would definitely recommend.

quiet and clean. perfect b&b ever seen, close to the mountain.
