I loved it ! I stayed 3 nights and I would have stayed longer if I didnt have to leave. The cabin is comfy and has a shelf and a plug sock next the the bed. You also have a towel and mosquitoe net. Super green and quiet. The staff is lovely. The owner even gave me a lift to the city and showed me some places I needed ti visit. The local breakfast is delicious! Im happy with their service! =)

By far the best place to stay in Sri Lanka! The rooms were very clean and the whole cottage was well care taken. Air conditioner was good and the location few minutes from the beach and the stores was super. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt welcome. The food they served in the cottage was amazing! The tastiest food we ate on out trip to Sri Lanka!

Location is amazing. Like a little private island. Entrance to the resort is like a nice walk in mangrove jungle. It’s really well mantained. We stayed in the ac room and the room was super clean, really comfortable and well decorated. Staff and the owner, ware really helpful and really sweet to us. We can totally recommend to stay here.

A Misty Mountain Paradise — Beyond Words Just 1.5 hours from Colombo, yet it feels like stepping into a dream — surrounded by misty mountains, forest, and clouds drifting past your window. The villa itself is breathtaking — glass walls all around, giving the feeling of being in a treehouse suspended in the mist. Sunrise feels magical. The food was exceptional — fresh, natural, and made with love. We mostly chose the local dishes — kiribath served with caramelized onion, homemade salmon(red curry), laveriya, herbal porridge and fresh fruits. Their western cuisine was equally wonderful. No added sugar or artificial flavors and the beautiful presentation made every meal memorable. Mouthwatering lunch wrapped in banana leaves and evening tea with helapa added that special Sri Lankan warmth. The villa was spotless — truly the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. The owner’s hospitality was beyond comparison, making us feel like family. My daughter loved the short forest hike nearby, and the peaceful surroundings made it so hard to leave. Manarala Villa is pure serenity — a 7-star escape where nature, comfort, and care blend perfectly. We can’t wait to return for a longer stay!
