Beautifully designed and serene gem of a hotel with a quiet atmosphere and professional and helpful staff. The food at the lodge restaurant alone would be enough reason to come (back) here. We had some of the best roast chicken & curry here of our whole trip! The pool offers a nice escape from the heat. Overall a highly recommended stay!

This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. The food served was really delicious as well. Would recommend this 100% to anyone travelling solo or with a family.

We had a wonderful stay at this lodge in Dambulla. The hosts were incredibly helpful, assisting us in organizing our trips to Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, and the Dambulla caves. We also had dinner at the lodge, and the meal prepared by the host was incredible. The breakfast was excellent, with delicious local products and fresh fruit. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Green Garden Hotel was truly pleasant. The owner was extremely kind. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The rooms were immaculate, beautiful, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. A truly relaxing place with gorgeous peacocks strolling around the patio. I highly recommend it, a true gem.

I had a very good time staying at Machcha. Kamal is a great host. :) The bungalow has two rooms with terrace in a beautiful garden. You can hear and see the birds and lay down in a hammock under the trees. The owner makes breakfast with love (fresh fruits, tea, avocado with toast/Roti, smoothie, egg). The location is perfect for exploring Sigiriya Lion Rock or have a day trip to Polonnaruwa. The nature is very nice. ;) Your host can help you with information about tours and what to explore around. It's also easy to connect with other travellers in the hostels around. The rooms are big, clean and very nice. With a big bed and A/C. Perfect location in a lush exotic garden. Few meters away you can admire rice field and views of Lion's rock and Pidurangala. Delicious local breakfast. Friendly and helpful owner that organized an airport transfer, as well as ride to our next locations and rides to main turist attractions. Huge and comfy beds.

Nimsara and his family are all wonderful people. They received me with tea even though I arrived pretty late in the evening. They will help you arrange anything you might want to do there. The breakfast was also delicious throughout my stay. The room is very clean and it was the best bathroom I had during my stay in Sri Lanka

The property is placed at the good location - close to Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock. You wake up with the amazing nature sound and you can really disconnect and rest in the nature. The room is cosy, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! One of the highlights was the host Asela who was very accommodating, professional, responsive, ready to help with arranging tuktuk drive at any time, or many activities you can do in Sigiriya (safari, massage etc). I went for the ayurvedic massage, and can recommend it! :) Highly recommended!! Thank you Asela!

We stayed there for a night and booked this location due to wonderful comments about its owner and location. And it is absolutely true. It is a small yet lovely hotel and also just 5 mins tuk tuk ride from the Sigiriya Rocks. Also very easily accessible to city center and restaurants. The owner is a fine gentleman and really friendly. We forgot our two bags and realised after we got call from hotel and we were around 20 kms away. The owner sent the bags via tuk tuk and did not accept cash for this extra effort done by them. We were really grateful to them.

We booked 3 nights ended up staying for 6 nights nights in the accommodation and then came back a second time because it was so great! The small house with its many windows is simply very special. Starting with the furnishings, the cleanliness and the view. The family there, who are incredibly welcoming, genuinely good people as a bonus they prepare the best authentic home cooked food. As former farmers they take pride in there vegetable garden and are happy to show you what you are eating from garden to table.It's an amazing place to relax, surrounded by nature with the lake and the view of sigiriya. We can only recommend everyone to stay here. We will definitely come back as soon as we can. What you get for your money here is unimaginable elsewhere.
