The host and his family are really kind and helping to show you around. Learned a lot about Buddhism as well which was really nice, it’s a really nice experience and you can really see the local life there. Not a lot of tourism.

With mountain views, Silver Hill Ecovillage is situated in Kurunegala and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

I cycled up to the Silver Hill Ecovillage and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Prosanna is a hospitable and engaging host. He kindly lent me his binoculars for some amazing birdwatching. The immediate views from the rooms and terrace are spectacular. His staff are very kindly attentive and prepared some wonderfully healthy home cooked food using locally grown produce. I was impressed with the outstanding scenery and unique location of the Silver Hill Ecovillage. I am so pleased and privileged to have had the chance to stay at this tranquil and mellow

The house is located in the jungle, you will be hearing lots of birds and other animals. And there is a small, private, swimming pool, which I really liked in the morning. Also the host is very friendly and supportive.

This is a stunning villa, high in the hills above Kandy city with views of jungle and outer city, with warm and super kind hosts, Punya and Ravi. Ravi's breakfast is fabulous. This is more of an art-hotel, beautifully appointed and designed, luxe. We should have stayed longer. It's a short walk down to the city, more of a tuktuk back.

Coco Eco Lodge is situated in Melsiripura and offers a garden and a restaurant. This lodge features free private parking, room service and free WiFi. A car rental service is available at the lodge.

Very attentive and welcoming host family, charming well-decorated cottage with a good bed. Can recommend the home-made food as well. Conveniently located between Negombo and Sigiriya, near to the main road but in a quiet living area surrounded by palm and mango trees.

Bungalows by CPC provides accommodation located 1.9 km from the centre of Kandy and features a garden and a terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge.

I had a wonderful experience at the bungalows by CPC. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, with elegant décor. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable, specifically the manager Mr gihan thank you so much for your help. I highly recommend this bungalows to anyone visiting to kandy.

We had an amazing stay. We have felt so welcomed from the moment we entered the hotel. The staff has been so kind and helpful. The last night we even had a great talk with the owner on the rooftop of the hotel. It's not in the city center, so it is far more quiet, but at a really reasonable distance, so it was perfect! We recommend 100% this place to stay in Kandy!!

I fell in love with this place! The spacious room and common areas are very clean. The balcony offers a breathtaking view. There’s a small kitchenette where you can boil water, use the dishes, and store food in the fridge. Within walking distance, you’ll find a vegetable shop and stores with all the essentials. Simple yet delicious Sri Lankan food is available nearby. The room doesn’t feel hot, so there’s no need for air conditioning. I didn’t even use the fan. It’s a perfect place to relax and recharge after exploring the mountains and local sights. Getting to the center of Kandy is easy: take a tuk-tuk or hop on a local bus, which runs frequently. The host is an incredibly kind, hospitable, and responsive person, always ready to assist with anything you need. You can tell he truly loves what he does. He also has a wonderful dog, which makes the place feel even more welcoming. A pleasant surprise for me was that they sort waste here, which is rare to see. For just $13 a night, you won’t find a better place to stay in Kandy!
