We are a Sri Lankan couple who travel around the country frequently, and this was truly one of the best stays we’ve experienced. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was the highlight — the best we had during our entire trip. It featured a wonderful selection of authentic Sri Lankan dishes, all freshly prepared and full of flavour. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. After over 6 hours traveling here by 3 buses I was greeted with a big smile, a fresh bottle of water, and cold beer. The host was incredibly friendly. The room is very clean. Hot water. To top it all off you get free breakfast and also a free ride to the airport.

This property is located in a beautiful mangrove forest. It’s so peaceful and surrounded by nature! The staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful and memorable. The kayak ride from the lodge to the beach was fabulous, and food (breakfast & dinner) was excellent!

The super friendly staff, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable (eg when my daughter hurt herself they produced a toy elephant for her to keep, or making different dishes of food because had never tried them). Added to this the very relaxed vibe of the place made it the perfect place to end our holiday.
