Cabins in Nuwara Eliya

My family had a wonderful stay in this place! Quite and safe place and away from the busy part of the area, wonderful views! Very huge space for our family of 5. The best view from the front balcony, which was our favorite spot watching as the sun rises. And the balcony at the back was amazing. The forest as well gives you the feeling of serenity looking at the tallest trees. The staff were really attentive and took care of us, very helpful. And that is the best thing you would want to have when you are in a home away from home.

The location is nice, though a bit far from the center; however, it is very peaceful, with no noise or disturbances. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate peace of mind. The cottage’s design is also very charming

We had an amazing stay! The location, the owners and the room itself were great. We had the Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning and loved it. Also the owners were really helpful. They made sure that not only the place where you stayed was great, but also that you got to visit every place where you wanted to go.

This spot is an absolute secret gem! Perched on top of a hill, watching the town wake up each morning was beautiful. The cabin is designed brilliantly, keeps so cosy and warm, the beds were so comfy and being snuggled up was perfect in the cool weather. Literally feel like you could be anywhere in the world. Don’t forget to hot shower, so good. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. Offering best local spots to eat and directions for each of our activities, and an endless supply of tea and coffee. The breakfast was huge and with an option for either English or traditional Sri Lankan (go the Sri Lankan!).

Nice place for relaxing vacation

We loveddd this place, quiet place with an AMAZING view of the waterfall from the upstairs bedroom, food was good and place is super quite and very cosy.

The property is such a little gem! A little (not so little) wood cabin in the nature. There’s a stream of water just behind and it’s very relaxing. The cabin is very comfortable, offers two double rooms downstairs and one upstairs. There a kitchenette, a fridge and even a hair dryer! All the amenities really. The owner is a fantastic lady! She is very nice and helpful and her garden is magnificent

We really enjoyed the stay. The owner Kamil is very Kind and helpful. Her organized a scooter forbus and also TukTuk to Nanu Oya. Moreover the view on Nuwara Eliya was really nice. Can fully recommend this accomodation.

We arrived to Nuwara Eliya on a cold, rainy afternoon. Queens Lake Cabin was absolutely what we needed for a perfect 1 night stay. As a family of 4, my husband and I took the downstairs bed and 2 children took the upstairs loft. We were pleased to discover an extra toilet upstairs for the children. All amenities were provided. Water, tea/coffee/toothbrush/paste/soap. It really made our stay much easier without needed to unpack everything. We had views over the lake and the Tea fields. There was a lot going on over the otherside of the lake in preparation for New Year celebrations, I believe. Viewing the lights across the water into the night was pretty magical. All while feeling we were up in the clouds. Even in the very cold conditions (16 degrees Celsius (we're from the tropics in Northern Australia)), we absolutely loved it. There was a couple of heaters provided also, which we didn't think we'd need but ended up using 1 after our rather cold adventures outside. The cabin was comfortable and we enjoyed defrosting ourselves and playing cards late into the evening. There's a restaurant on site which we decided to dine in for the 1 night we were there. The service and food was impeccable and well priced. We were able to select food from a menu when we arrived and dinner was on the table when we came down later in the evening. Checkout was a breeze and the staff even helped us arrange a taxi to take us onto our next leg of our journey at a reasonable price. There's also a cute little Strawberry shop just around the corner to the left of this place which sells the most delicious cakes, hot chocolates and fresh strawberries. Definitely worth popping in for a visit. Highly recommend if you'd like to be out of the hussle and bussle of the town but close enough to enjoy the local attractions nearby!

Very very friendly guy who runs the cabins. He helped a lot! Nice dinner and breakfast (made by his mom).
