The property itself and the features are just perfect. The wow factor really comes from the surroundings; if you are a nature lover then this is the place for you. A hidden little gem looking out over the rice fields, palm trees in every direction, endless species of birds and of course lots of other cool animals to watch out for like monkeys and frogs. Then to top it all off, the family here are just wonderful; so welcoming and hospitable... I even had days out with them! This is a little further away from some of the hot spots, however, I have honestly opted to spend whole days just relaxing here as it's such a beautiful little sanctuary that you just want to make the most of 🥰 It is also easy enough to get to places when you do need to. Hathawariya Green View Cabin made the perfect first stay for my trip as a solo female traveller.

The Writer's Loge is perfectly situated in a quiet cobbled lane, just as you enter the Fort. Easy to find and in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. I loved my time at the lodge. The accommodation is run by a family and has been opened just some weeks ago. Not only does it look really beautiful and stilish, every little detail has been planned with love. There is a warm shower with good water pressure, the bed is incredibly comfortable and the food prepared by the mother is simply delicious! I did a cooking class with her and Malik gave me a tour of Galle. The center is not far away and the way to get there is fantastic! You are on your own in the lodge and have plenty of peace and privacy, but the family always welcomes you and ensures you have an unforgettable time. I will definitely come back and stay longer!

Hiresha and Sudeera made our stay at the property a delight, looking after our every need. Transportation, food, recommendations, everything. The property itself is stunning and spotless and the true meaning of Boutique. It's a little way from the beach but it's in the jungle with no sounds other than the wild life. There are little extras with this property that are noteworthy, the use of the kitchen if you like or the laundry room.

I couldn't have asked for a better stay. This cabin is perfectly located - close to Ahangama junction and the beach but also quite and a little bit apart from the busy parts and noises. The host is very friendly and attentive and the breakfast is amazing. All in all it was a great stay and I wish I could've extended!

Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a fresh coconut, which was such a lovely gesture. The place is incredibly clean and beautifully maintained. The hosts are extremely accommodating and make the stay as pleasant as possible. They are genuinely kind and warm-hearted people. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect and memorable stay. We will come back!

Everything! The food was absolutely delicious for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Make sure you ask for sri lanka breakfast. The pool is a lovely area to relax and is a lovely temperature and the staff are always on hand for anything you need. Even going as far as getting suncream from the village and bringing us to our next destination. The room was perfect for what we needed. Small but comfortable. Had a nice shower, too. I would 100% recommend this to anyone
