The place was wonderful—peaceful, welcoming, and with friendly people all around. We absolutely loved our experience. The food was amazing! Thank you for everything.

Paradise! The grounds surrounded by palm trees were unreal and it felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Lovely shallow swimming area protected from the waves. It feels very remote and quiet in the area. Wish we were staying longer! Staff were fantastic. Kayaks for the lagoon were free to use. Room was a good size compared to others, comfy beds.

This place is one of the most relaxing and magical spots during our journey through Sri Lanka! The staff is super super friendly, the room is perfect, the view, the food, i honestly have nothing but compliments! We love the alternative way of travelling and the vibe of this place truly made our experience unforgettable❤️❤️❤️ you can listen to the birds, the waves of the sea and enjoy the nature to a max.

I had the pleasure of spending a night at one of Ella’s best-known hostels, Tomorrowland, where I met the owner. During our conversation, he suggested that if I was planning to visit the southern beaches, I should consider staying at their brand-new beach property—Tomorrowland Beach Villas in Rekawa, Tangalle. Although I had already booked accommodations in Mirissa, I decided to take a chance and spend a night at Tomorrowland Beach Villas before heading to my final destination—Kandy. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the lovely hosts, Irushi and Hiruni, making it one of the most heartfelt greetings I’ve received at a property in Sri Lanka. I was given the Winter Villa, a stunning all-wood cabin perched right at the water’s edge, where the waves crashed just below. For dinner, I indulged in one of Tomorrowland’s specialties—the Pompano Fish, part of an impressive selection of freshly caught seafood. Dining at sunset, right where the waves met the shore, was nothing short of sublime. Adding to the charm, a breakwater runs perpendicular to Tomorrowland’s private beach. The right side forms a serene, blue-water pool, where I enjoyed a leisurely soak until sundown. Although Tomorrowland had arranged an early morning bird-watching lagoon cruise, I ended up sleeping in until 9:00 AM—unfortunately missing the adventure, as I had to rush to catch my transportation to Kandy. Tomorrowland Beach Villas is a paradise for couples who cherish privacy, romance, and a touch of indulgence. I will definitely be returning with my partner next time—and with a few well-earned credits from Tomorrowland Properties, it’s sure to be even more memorable. Five stars all the way!

We had a wonderful stay and felt truly welcomed by the lovely family at Hazeloft. The breakfast was delicious, and the home-cooked dinners were absolutely amazing, full of local flavors and made with care. Such a peaceful place with genuine hospitality; we would definitely love to come back!

It is a very beautiful house - the interior and exterior are amazing. You have a lot of privacy as you are the only guest. Very rich breakfast in your own garden. Beach is a short walk away

Great location to silent beach and another nice beach close by. Nice to have cooking facilities. Clean and good facilities. Caretaker was very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of good advice as to where to go.
