The place was very confortable. The host is very kind and helpful. He owns a nice little restaurant and another house just next, so very quiet almost no other neighbours. Very good breakfast, copious and varied. Fews minutes walk from the beach, many shops and restaurants around. The best plus is that it is located on the jungle edge of the village and by the river, so we had iguanas, varans, birds and plenty of monkeys passing so close to us!! Wonderful!! The best rate quality/price of our travel so far, highly recommanded!

I had an amazing stay at this cabana! The place is clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. We stayed here for three days and felt very comfortable. The cottage built in the garden of the family is very stylishly furnished and has everything you need. Great interior design. It even has a very large refrigerator, dishes, and a sink. Malik and his family take really good care of their guests. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful (so much so that we made ourselves packed lunches). And Malik's brother once brought us some delicious homemade cookies, just because I had told him that I like sweets. You can borrow two bicycles for free, which we did once to explore the surrounding area and ride through the rice fields. Malik is a very good contact when it comes to organizing excursions. He gave us great tips and organized a good driver for a day trip to the rainforest. He also speaks excellent English (which is unfortunately not often the case in Sri Lanka), so it's easy to have a conversation with him. He is an awesome guide himself and spent a morning showing us around the old town and fort of Galle, and we learned lots of new and interesting things. Highly recommend to go on a guided tour with him, if he is around. If we come back to Galle, we will definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Teyra. I was warmly welcomed by the owner, her son and mother. I immediately felt relaxed, safe and at home. The room is separate from the main house by going up some stairs but connected which was great as I had privacy but the family nearby. I stayed due to it's close proximity to the hospital as I had a very early appointment but I would be happy to stay if I was visiting Galle again. The neighbourhood seemed peaceful and I was able to securely park my bike in the garage. The room exceeded my expectations. Everything felt very new, clean and fresh. It was actually a mini apartment which was a nice surprise. A small, functioning brand new kitchen and brand new bathroom attached to the bedroom. There is a small outside balcony, a smart tv and AC. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Communication was great and the hosts were very accommodating.
