The best views, from the balcony as well as all rooms. Very friendly staff en great food. We did a half day walk with a local guide. We loved it and so did our young boys aged 6 and 7.

Mustafa and Hussain (the two brothers of the house) were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Plus, the breakfast was great :) We also arranged our Toubkal trip through them, and had a splendid time with the local guide Ibrahim.

Great hospitality, very comfortable room, great location - a 5 minute uphill walk from the grand taxi stop/station and nice views. Hot water showers, strong WiFi. Dinner options available. Said contacted me to make sure I found the property and was full of useful local information. I only stayed one night but I would have stayed longer if time allowed 🙂

Mohamed did everything he could to make our stay as comfortable as possible! He organized a last minute taxi for us as we had problems with our rental car and organized the best guide we could ask you (thank you hassan)! On top of that the location and the interior of the berber family lodge is simply breathtaking! therefore: i can strongly recommend!!!!

Such a beautiful place to stay, great views of mountains. Delicious breakfast and dinner also! If I come back I’d definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, clean and well located. Amazing service, the family that runs it is super friendly and helpful, always putting our needs first and ensuring we had a good time. We liked our room, it had a cosy balcony with a view of the mountains. And the breakfast was huge! They helped us with getting a guide for a short walk, and the guide Mohamad was lovely too. The residents of Imlil were super hospitable and the environment awe-inspiring. We wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return.

Our overnight stay here was the highlight of our trip to Morocco! It’s truly a unique and beautiful experience. The location and views by themselves are breathtaking but Lahcen and his family go above and beyond with their kindness and generous hospitality to make everything about the stay one you’ll never forget. All the food was exceptional, and it was no problem us both being vegan. We had a very fun cooking lesson with the family in the evening, including being surprised with a couple of beautiful traditional Berber outfits. The next morning, after a breakfast watching the sunrise we were given directions for a pretty walk through the village and orchards to the waterfall before being met back in Imlil with our luggage for the taxi back. If you want an amazing trip to Morocco then staying at the Authentic Toubkal Lodge is a must. There are also a couple of very cute cats! Thank you especially to Abdul for everything :) tanmirt!
