Cabins in Nosy Be

Lovely place, lovely staff, has everything you need. A little far from everything but a great getaway. we had scooters to move around so it was perfect. Owner was very helpful too. Would recommend.

Jean-Michel, Florida and the whole team are very helpful and kind. For example, we asked Jean-Michel in an email that we would like to stop at a "supermarket" to buy few things during our transfer from the airport to Doany Beach. He said okay. And soon he sent an email that he had noticed we would arrive on Sunday afternoon when shops are closed and offered that he buys what we need if we send a list, Wow. Doany Beach is beautiful with its white sand beach (no trash only shells) , crystal clear ocean in front of you, no dangerous currents, beautiful corals and fish for snorkelling (it is easier to find them in low tide). And there are no other tourists, maybe another family as guests. We could see sunrise even from our bed, we only had to open our front door facing to the ocean at 6 am. Brown (female) and black (male) lemurs are coming each evening or sometimes in the afternoon. We got bananas from the staff to make lemurs eat from our hands and let us stroke them (except their tails). As there are no shops or markets, you eat what you get. But do not worry, meals are perfectly delicious and sufficient and as a bonus, you eat in the garden with ocean view. Weather (sunny, 29-30 C, no rain during the day) and the ocean temperature were great. Doany Beach has filtered drinking water. We had no problems with WiFi. There is hot water in the bathroom. You may ask for how many night you should book. It can easily be one week. Lokobe Reserve is in walking distance, Jean-Michel came with us to show the way. It is worth checking Doany Beach's own website, where you see many boat tours offered (e.g. Lemurialand+Mont Passot+Andilana beach, Tanikely, Sakatia, Komba, Iranja, etc.). There are also many other program possibilities, like fishing, water skiing, face painting. You also see the prices on the website. Boat trip price is usually for the boat and not per person. Piece of paradise without compromise. Stunning, semi isolated property with an amazing service and beach. Madam Yvonne that runs the place is one of the most amazing host we have ever met. Pays attention to every detail of your stay and makes you feel exceptional, like if everyone is there just for you.

Beautiful property, beautiful gardens, the pool sits on such a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the ocean view. The room had an amazing view, loved the sitting area and bathroom set-up. Enjoyed sitting in bed with the shutters open to enjoy the amazing view. The food was excellent, very good chef. Very relaxing and beautiful lodge. Very nice staff, all of them.
