Imagine waking up early in the morning, grabbing a coffee, be greeted by two lovely dogs coming to say hi, the sound of birds and the distant noise of the waves. You walk for 3 minutes and you arrive on a beautiful beach, most of the time almost empty,. You can use the kayak, the surf board, bodyboard available at the house, whenever you want to go and see the dolphins even if they often come to the shore. Sanjana and Julien are adorable, so are their 2 kids. We got some fresh eggs coming from their adventurous chicken, they were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. There is a barbecue that we used by the beach…We had an incredible stay and we cannot wait to come again ! Tamarin bay is so much better than Flic en Flac and you have great food options nearby when you spend your day at the beach. The house is located in a secured and quiet place, it’s a fantastic option to discover Mauritius by offering a peaceful space to rest.

The property’s location is just perfect and led to instant relaxation & Anil and his daughter are truly wonderful hosts. The hut is equipped with everything you could wish for and more and it’s just the perfect morning activity to go out with the kayak (that you can use for free) and swim with the dolphins that come to the bay every morning. Furthermore, it’s a very secure place and there plenty of restaurants close by. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing breakfast and food. But the setting is the best of all. So green and lusious and such wonderful views from some villas. The walk to Pinot Cannot is amazing, takes 1 hour and the views from there are even better (with good hiking shoes). the walk starts right at the property.

La Vieille Cheminée is situated on a 200-acre farm in Charamel and is surrounded by two rivers, indigenous trees and forest. It features an outdoor swimming pool, terrace and garden.
