The boat house was exactly as shown in the photo and much nicer and very clean. The mattresses were nice and firm. Beautiful spot for relaxing and enjoying boat ride to the nearest lake. Robert was very responsive to any queries that we had. We were sorry that our stay was very short here, and we will definitely come back here if we come back to Netherland again. We had an amazing stay at Lodgement Bilderdam! The accommodation itself was beautiful and set in such a lovely, peaceful area. It really felt like the perfect balance of being surrounded by nature but still close enough to everything we needed. Shops were not too far away, and we found some lovely cafés right next to the local Lidl which made things very convenient. The location was also excellent for exploring — we managed to visit both Amsterdam and Rotterdam without any hassle as they were not too far away. It made our trip feel wonderfully varied, with the calm of Bilderdam and the buzz of the cities. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at the Lodges near the Rhine. Pieter is the perfect host. He is kind, friendly, funny and has very good tips for restaurants and things to do in the region. The house is clean and beautiful, the garden is peaceful. The bed is very confortable. There is everything you need for a perfect stay. There’s fresh eggs, bikes, a great parking space. It’s nice to walk along the Rhine. It’s such a peaceful place. We enjoyed the chicken running around and the lambs playing around in the field next to the house. We are going to miss Ginger the super smart chicken and her chicken squad. Around the house, there are shops, restaurants, public transportation. If you need a peaceful holiday in an amazing country with the perfect host, it’s the place to be. Thank you Pieter for your warm welcome.
