The Abbella Lodge Motel was perfect for our family stay. The accommodation was comfortable, and the staff were great - around when needed and in the background, but contactable, when not. The location was perfect - a relatively short drive from the airport, a bus stop with regular buses into the city centre right outside, and with the added bonus of a large supermarket across the road. Would definitely recommend and return for another stay.

The room was spacious, extremely clean, the furniture new, the bed very comfortable; there is a very well equipped kitchenette, a table and 2 chairs, and a private little patio where the birds were chirping... it's absolutely lovely.

Sherbourne Motor Lodge is just a 15-minute walk from the Town Hall and a 20-minute walk from the city centre of Christchurch.

The host is great, he helped us to search for Chinese restaurant which can offer live lobster. and he helped us to bring our bags to our room in level 1. and he offered us chairs when we are waiting for the airport shuttle after check-out. all are appreciated!!

we were in a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor. very good and comfortable unit and the bed was very comfortable. a handy ten minute drive from the airport.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our suite was lovely and spacious, clean and modern, and the lodge is in a great location with a FreshChoice supermarket just down the road and within walking distance of the city centre.
