The room was very clean. Since I was able to eat breakfast early every day, I was able to ski early. The staff was very courteous, so I was able to stay with peace of mind.I will definitely choose this lodge again next time I come to New Zealand. I really wanted to express my gratitude directly, but since I can't speak English, I regret that. Thank you very much for the great time ☺︎

The owners were lovely and incredibly accommodating. The rooms were warm and had plenty of bedding and the kitchen and bathroom were clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again soon.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Yuki’s Chalet! The views were simply stunning, offering a breathtaking backdrop that made every moment special. The place itself was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped, with everything you could possibly need and more. From the kitchen appliances to thoughtful little touches, no detail was overlooked. A delightful surprise was the unexpected bottle of bubbles and chocolates waiting for us on arrival—such a lovely gesture that made the stay feel even more special. The host was beyond helpful and genuinely lovely, always available when needed and truly went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible experience. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s rare to find accommodation that combines such beautiful surroundings, incredible amenities and a host who truly cares. Can’t wait to return!

Amazing communication from Jeremy, accommodated to every request we had and very pleasant, all while being super busy!! The home is beautiful and spacious, exceeded all expectations. Excellent location in the middle of Methven, handy to supermarket and next door to the Blue and Brown pubs - we ate in the Brown pub. Double height living space had a nice feel. Small kitchen was well equipped - had everything we needed. Off street parking was handy a couple of times but access is a little tight. Parking on the street was no bother too. Nice drive up the mountain. Both double rooms were excellent. Owner was responsive and helpful.
