Extremely friendly and warm welcome, super spacious room with very modern interior. The room was very clean and quiet (not facing the street). Very highly recommend this lodge!

Excellent value for money, comfortable and well equipped. We slept deeply and the bed was comfortable despite not being a superking We bought some groceries from the Pak N'Save supermarket in Taupo, an enormous well stocked store. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly

Jamarqui Barn Cottage is a beautiful property, it is freshly decorated, spotlessly clean, has everything you need and the host was around if I needed anything. The property is on an equine block so expect to see horses and other small animals walking around, all very friendly. There is a gate with access code to get into the property, so it felt very secure. There are no cooking facilities, but there is a microwave and fridge, this suited me as I was eating out and I brought some food that could be heated in the microwave, in case I was peckish, or I made sandwiches. Who wants to cook when on holiday anyway. Cambridge is 10 minutes away and Hamilton is 20, so lots of choice to eat out. I loved my stay so much I did not want to go home, and I will definitely be going back. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for such lovely accommodation very reasonably priced.
