Our stay at the Koofan heritage hotel was a memorable journey through time. It allowed us to appreciate the architectural beauty of the past while enjoying the comforts of the present. If you're seeking a unique and immersive stay that combines history, culture, and comfort, a heritage hotel is an excellent choice. We had a marvellous stay at Souly Lodge and can’t wait for our next visit already! - The room: it was large with plenty of storage and the bed was very comfy. It had a rustic feel and we loved the outdoor shower. An efficient working air con system, which is welcomed in the hotter months. - Customer service: All the staff were so friendly, helpful and hardworking. Our room was cleaned everyday with towels and any soaps being replaced, as well as a bottle of water. The restaurant staff always served us with a smile and went the extra mile. - Restaurant: We loved the food on the main menu, particularly the seafood, which the chefs cooked perfect every time. The food was great value and the coffees/drinks options were plentiful - note there is no alcohol, but you can bring your own to have on your terrace. We enjoyed the morning breakfasts, with the omelettes and french toast being the highlights. - Beach: Absolutely stunning. The water was crystal clear, there were enough loungers and shaded areas for all the guests, and with plenty of privacy. It was a very peaceful beach and if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday, this is the best place to be. - Extra amenities: There was a pool table and table tennis, which we enjoyed using when we wanted to escape the sun. The lodge also hosted some Arabian nights that included a buffet, musicians, tea and dancing. Please note that for leaving a tip for all the staff, they only take cash. We absolutely loved our stay and it’s the most relaxed we’ve felt after leaving a holiday destination. Definitely recommend to all!
