Excellent stay!! Location: perfect. 2 min from airport bus stop and la vie mall which has Pingo Doche supermarket . 1 min to SAM bus terminal. As we didn’t rent a car, it was perfect taking bus to places we wanted ( or transport pick up services to hiking)5 min to promenade and 15 min to old town. Unit 3A: our unit is big and kitchen has everything we need that we cooked most of our meals during our 8 days stay. Bring all herbs/oil/salt/pepper with you if you don’t want to buy at supermarket. There are 3 dolce gusto capsules and 3 tea bags. Dish detergent/capsules and shower gels. Extra towels and bedsheets in the closet in case we needed them. There is a car/motercycle rental next door if you want to rent a car. Communication is perfect with whatsapp and instructions via video. Overall we had a great stay and wish we could stay longer!

Incredible location. At the start of hike PR 11. Restaurants, steps away . Everything in the apartment was modern and clean. Great views, wish we stayed there longer.

The aparment is small but cosy with a nice terrace which offers lovely view of the sea. The location is quiet and peaceful, away from busy areas. I used it as a "base" to explore the western part of the island. Every day, I used to drive to a new place, enjoyed the sights and then returned to the apartment to relax. I was able to visit some lesser-known spots, such as Levada Fajã do Rodrigues. It takes 10-15 min to drive to the closest Continente supermarket in Santana which was convenient for quick supply runs.

Our family of 5 (two parents and three kids ages 13, 10, and 6) had an amazing stay here during our kids' February break. The house is exactly as described, and is lovely. Each of the 4 bedrooms has a beautiful view of the city and the ocean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the outside patio was beautiful. We enjoyed wine outside in the evenings, and the kids ate breakfast outside in the morning. The best part of our stay was the host, Sidónio. He was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. He had great suggestions for things to do and see on Madeira, and our trip would not have been the same without his suggestions!
