The aparment is small but cosy with a nice terrace which offers lovely view of the sea. The location is quiet and peaceful, away from busy areas. I used it as a "base" to explore the western part of the island. Every day, I used to drive to a new place, enjoyed the sights and then returned to the apartment to relax. I was able to visit some lesser-known spots, such as Levada Fajã do Rodrigues. It takes 10-15 min to drive to the closest Continente supermarket in Santana which was convenient for quick supply runs.

It was a perfect ending for our hike through the island. Wine, electric fireplace, and magnificent view to the sunset in Atlantic Ocean. The place also has a small pool with a view to the ocean, but it was too cold for us to try it. The housekeeper, Maria, was very nice and helpful.

This beautiful cottage is filled with thoughtful little touches such as sun loungers and throw blankets. The pool is heated and was a gorgeous spot to watch the sunset from. Breakfasts were delicious and delivered to your door each morning. We loved that we could stroll up the hill to the levada, as well as a lovely traditional restaurant.
