Breakfast was excellent: tasty and versatile (each day there were toasts, pancakes, strawberry jam, an assortment of fruit - banana, papaya, orange - as well as omelette/scrambled eggs/fried eggs and tea/coffee to choose from). The staff is very nice, polite and helpful (e.g. when my trousers got dirty with bike grease, the receptionist had them washed for me, returning spotless and ironed or a waiter had a breakfast prepared for me in five minutes when one morning I was in a rush). The localization is very good, close to the beach Anse Severe, which is a perfect spot for watching sunsets, snorkelling or having a snack or drink at one of the beach bars. The bungalow was spacious and well-furnished with air-conditioning in the bedroom. The acommodation has a bike rental service at an acceptable price of 150 SCR per day per person.

Situated on La Digue Island and overlooking the beach of Anse Reunion, Le Surmer Self Catering Chalets features fully equipped self-catering accommodation with a private verandah.

We were welcomed very warmly and got very nice tips of what to do in the island!!

La Digue Island Lodge has its own diving centre on Anse Reunion Beach. A sun terrace overlooking the ocean sits by the pool with swim-up bar.

Most of all we liked our Beach Chalet room, with personnal terasse and direct entrance to the beach. Territory of the hotel is big enough to feel privicy comfort, only few people around. Hotel's beach and location is better then many other, no real need to go out to have all benefits. The staff was very friendly, the food at dinner was enough and it was delicious.

The host, Christopher, was so helpful and service-minded. Provided us with local tips and contacts. The location is phenomenal, right on a lovely sandy beach. Perfect in so many ways.

Everything was beautiful, the villa is big and convenient. We've even been upgraded to the front villa with the small pool. The place and the location is perfect and you can enjoy your breakfast at the balcony. It was way better than what we expecting.
