A lovely cottage with lovely owners. Very friendly and helpful. Location is great, if you are catching a flight right after. The garden and the pool are also very relaxing.

Very nice house and very friendly host. We had everything and didn't miss anything. In reality even more beautiful than in the pictures. Quiet accommodation in nature in a more non-touristy part of the island. Beautiful beaches nearby, lots of locals and no crowds or noise. Lots of shops, fruit and fish vendors nearby.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had an amazing stay. - We travelled in public bus and the bus stop is nearby to the property. (Although a bit of steep from the main road towards property). 2 super markets within 1km radius, as well as the beach. We walked to the beach and super markets. (Again, the roads are bit steep, but it was ok for us). - The gentleman from the property gave us plenty of star fruits during our stay. Everyone are very friendly. There is lot of greenery and lot of trees and plants. Perfect for those who want quite and serene environment. - The property is very calm. We had a small but sufficient private pool with good privacy. The room and living room were great and clean. We had a nice table near the pool and could have our meals. The AC in the living room is sufficient. ( Note there is no AC in the room). - We had requested for early check in as our flight arrived early and Maria was very generous for allowing us to check in 3 hrs early. And we received two water bottles as well. - The hosts were very nice. Met Maria (during check-out) and her husband (during check-in) and they were very polite and helpful. I messaged Maria for airport pickup and drop off for the ferry and she arranged Taxi. - Paid through credit card in the property. ( EUR was converted to SCR (16 Rs/ Eur) during payment and had to pay property/environment tax : 25 per person per night additionally). I highly recommend it and would stay here if I visit Seychelles again.

Very nice host, great communication, nice location, very close to village supermarkets, very close to the beach. And the little private pool was the top of this accommodation for us! All the interior was so new fresh and clean.

Booking online is always a bit of a gamble, but the Forest Lodge is exactly as promised. All the photos are legit and it is indeed a very cozy guest house a bit away from all the noise, except for the many animal sounds from the surrounding beautiful forest. What we valued most while staying there for 12 nights was first of all the outstanding kindness and helpfulness of the manager and his staff. We were even lucky enough to have been offered a dinner, which was absolutely fantastic. As mentioned, we were very happy with the ambient and the abundance of space in the room/studio. Siting on the balcony and drinking your favorite morning/evening drink while watching birds and fruit bats flying all around is as good as it gets. We were surprised how well the staff maintain clean and tidy rooms as well as the surroundings of the house. We were also a big fan of the in-house drinks fridge, which is self-service. The only thing that could see some improvement in my opinion is the kitchenette. It is useful, but very basic. The stove is painfully slow. A gas stove or induction plate would be a superb upgrade. For some people, it should be noted, that there is quite a walk to the beach. There is a small local beach, but it is not as nice as the main one in Beau Vallon and it is not extremely close either. That said, we had no problem walking every day and using the bus. There is plenty of bus stops all around and it is a good way to explore the island. From the lodge to the main road is about 8-10 minutes walk, and a further 1 minute to the bus stop and another 2 minutes to the closest shop. The local beach is around 10-15 minutes of walking and the Beau Vallon beach is around 30 minutes of walking. If this is a problem for you, rent a car. There is free parking at the lodge.

We had amazing time here. The rooms were spacious and the garden was amazing. It has kitchen,where you can cook, washing machine and barbecue. The view from the garden is amazing. I would really like to give special thanks to Adam ,who is one the nicest guys I' ve met. Everything we asked ,he provided immediately and he really helped us the last day.

The host arranged transport from airport to the Villa, great start on our vacation. Quite and lovely neighborhood with beach 2 minutes way from the Villa.
