Cabins in Kranjska Gora

We stayed in apartment 14 during the summer. The balcony had a really good view on the highest peaks, the beautiful lakes were 15 minutes on foot, the city center is 3 minutes away so the location is exeptional. It was quiet and comfortable, easy self check-in with clear instructions. The kitchen is well equipped and everything looked new. We even had our own storage place in the garage for our bikes. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment. The kitchen was well-equipped and welcome drinks in the fridge were a really nice surprise. There was a pleasant garden with barbecue facilities that we didn’t use though, as the weather wasn’t great. Since we had bikes with us, we appreciated the possibility to store them in the garage, as well as the vicinity of the Alpe Adria cycling path which lies just a few hundreds of meters from the house. The owner was very friendly and caring, always trying to help with whatever we asked or needed.

Everything was perfect and beyond amazing! Photos don’t do it’s justice for sure. We didn’t know what to expect when we booked it without much planning and not knowing about the area as we’re on our road trip from Uk to Croatia. Saw the listing on Booking.com and the place looked exactly how we like and what we wanted for a while but couldn’t find elsewhere. Chalet sofija is nestled among the peaks of the Jura alps. Standing so grandly but so well blended in with the natural beauty around the mountains, we were blown away by it’s gorgeous architecture and tasteful decor and complete luxurious feel the moment we walked into the chalet. This is a super prime luxury property! When we arrived, we were greeted by the host and owner of chalet sofija Alessandra and her beloved dog Tracy. We have two dogs with us and they were delighted to have met new friends. The moment we walked in our jaws dropped by breathtaking view of the mountains with wide deck and infinity swimming pool which is heated 30 degree over looking the mountains and there are sauna and spa also looking over the magnificent view. Pope the owner and Alessandra definitely design so carefully and with no expense spared to make the most of benefits that the mountains give. There are big windows everywhere you’ll have panoramic view from every part of the chalet. Rooms- I almost cried when we walked into our room which also has panoramic view. it’s beyond my imagination how beautiful this huge room. Love how luxurious but at the same time you feel like you’re so close to nature. From the small amenities to super tech built in TV and remote controlled blinds system if necessary to have deep sleep. We also enjoyed fine dining experience by Pope who is renowned restauranteur in Slovenia. Breakfast & dinner both absolutely amazing we felt so pampered while we stayed. With it’s one of a kind view and style, I’m sure the season doesn’t matter!

Incredible location of the cabin: right in the nature, close to Vrsic pass and the Soca river springs. The cabin is well equipped for both summer and winter. You might wake up and see a deer outside - stunning!

Very beautiful chalet in the middle of the mountains and at the very shore of Bohinj lake. The location is ideal for walking and skiing (5 min to Vogel station) in winter, and for hiking and lots of other activities in warmer seasons. 30 minutes drive to the beautiful Bled lake. The chalet itself is beautifully refurbished with love and attention to every tiny detail. Everything was clean and brand new. The owner Jaka was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast delivery options is available, for the rest of the day you either cook (fully euqiped kitchen + barbecue set) or dine out (one option with short walking distance). The private sauna and fireplace add to the beautiful atmosphere of the chalet.

Everything was perfect. We found the keys in the key box, there also was champagne and chocolate for welcome. The kitchen was well equipped and had also tea, coffee, sugar, etc. We really appreciated the big living room, which is perfect for a big group, the fireplace (with firewood) and the sauna. The rooms were very clean and equipment modern. We had a very nice stay after a cold and rainy day.

The Hike and Bike Chalet is a stunning property! We were blown away by how beautiful it is - right on the most crystal clear river I have seen. All the rivers and lakes in Slovenia seem to be this clear. This little chalet has a lovely lawn and a patio with furniture. The perfect setting for morning coffee or sipping afternoon beverages while listening to the river and watching the pokey traffic cross the bridge. Idyllic. In the afternoon we watched cows come walking down the road all alone and casually stop to eat the lush grass along the riverside - I guess they knew where they were going - no-one seemed concerned - even the car that patiently followed them until they gave room to pass. It was entertaining. The cute little town area was right across the bridge with a bar/restaurant and a small Mercator as well as the Tourist Information office. We ate at a Gostilna just next door to the chalet (before the bridge) which was casual, good food as is the case with most Gostilnas.

Very comfortable, tastefully decorated, sauna and jacuzzi a real plus, with ample space for our group of six adults. Great attention to detail, with plenty of supplies (laundry detergent etc). We really enjoyed our stay, thanks
