The family that owns and operates the business is very warm and welcoming. They put a lot of care into the property and their guests. The rooms are clean and simple. The gardens are beautiful. The air-conditioning works really well.

Fantastic place, not in the least by the genuine hospitality of the staff, and I mean all the members from the very friendly father and founder of the lodgings, to his offspring, family in law and other employed ladies, all of them always in a good mood, always happy and in for a chat, some of them do speak really good English and are in for a good banter anytime. Their cozy shaded restaurant upfront is where it all takes place, the breakfast has variety and is really excellent with good brown bread, good imported cheese ( most likely Dutch ) and everything always fresh. And who wants to take dinner there as well will not be disappointed, the ladies know what they are doing in th de kitchen, all very, very tasty. The chalets, each with a small veranda are well set back from the road, well shaded under trees and the rooms, though not luxurious, have all you really need, including a small fridge. The bed was really comfortable, with a better mattress as the average in Thai lodgings. There is access to a beach in front of the place, but it's rather rocky in part, better beaches are both to the north and to the south. No problems, Lanta is anyhow a big island to explore, so the lodgings have their own scooters which can be rented, and I did notice they keep them well maintained. There are 7-11's at roughly 2-3 km both to north and south. I had extended my stay there since it was so enjoyable and this is the place I will definitely choose again on my next visit to Koh Lanta!

This is what we had been looking for in Thailand. A quiet, basic, clean bungalow on the beach. Right next to the best cocktail bar: Aqua Bar. We didn’t move from our deck for two days relaxing and dipping in the beach.
