I strongly recommend staying in Mkeka. Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is very nice, and it's just a short walk from the beach. The swimming pool, that is open 24h, is a big plus. The hotel staff is really great and friendly. They will recommend you the best places to see, help you to organise your trips, take you to the best parties in the area, and make you feel like at home :) Great for families, couples and solo travellers :)

I was looking for a quiet hotel in Paje, and this turned out to be the perfect choice. It’s well located, with modern installations, cozy and well-equipped rooms that are supee clean, plus a private balcony and a lovely pool in the common area. Nice and clean accomodation. Camp fire at night. Locally owned business. Many monkeys. The tours were very well organized, more authentic than what you can find in stone town. The food is amazing!
