The owner of Ridgeview as well as the personell are just the most friendly people you´ll ever meet. They make amazing english breakfast as well as drinks in the evening, and if you want to get a ride through the city they can organize that as well. I was working in Durban and stayed at Ridgeview for 3 weeks, and the team at Ridgeview really made me feel like i was right at home every single day! So, if you want to visit Durban, which i would highly recommend, i suggest you stay at Ridgeview. There is just no place quite like it.

This property is a gem! Beautiful suites, lovely grounds, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, and wonderful spa treatments. We couldn’t have asked for a more personal experience. Kim and Ninette were exceptional hosts who accommodated our every need. The suites are beautifully decorated, and the entire property is maintained with great attention to detail and a warm, personal touch. We would happily stay here again every time we visit Durban.

The hotel is clean and the room was quite comfortable. They offer free filtered water (still and fizzy) near the check-in desk, as well as vending machines. Fast wifi. The hotel was located a 10 minute walk from a major, ritzy shopping area.

The hotel has a best location, just in front of the Gateway mall main entrance. It's a cool place to stay. The staff is very professional. You have many halaal restaurants around the hotel, such as J'Mos, Istanbul, Ocean Basket, Nando's, My Dinners and many more...!!!! My special thanks goes to Mrs.Rai and Mrs.Pamela who assisted me 🤝. Definitely will be going back to the same hotel !
