We loved the 'untent', the wood fired hot tub and the private setting. The 'tent' was marvelous and we appreciated sitting outside under cover on the large deck.

The facility and the rooms are beautiful. Unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of the beautiful swimming pool. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. On top of that the owner was very kind and supported us in all our needs and gave us valuable tips for our trip. Hard to find a better place and a better welcome

The location is perfect, walking distance to the many wine estates around it along walking tracks. The staff are lovely and attentive, it’s a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful outlook down the valley. Breakfast is a great assortment with also a cooked selection if you want, the coffee machine is accessible anytime. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and the bathroom is luxurious. Banhoek Lodge recommended a local driver, Christo, who drove us around to places further than walking distance, he’s a gem! So quiet and serene, we could easily spend a week here!
