Set in Grundlsee, 83 km from Salzburg, MONDI Chalets am Grundlsee provides two restaurant and free WiFi. The location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.

Located in Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt, in Upper Austria, 48 km from Salzburg, Waldharmonie - Chalet & Apartments features an infrared sauna and a sun terrace. The cottage was very modern and beautiful. The host was very nice.

Everything was clean and ready. There was milk and juice for us, as well as Nutella, tea, a coffee machine, and jam for breakfast. The location was wonderful, and there were no issues with parking.

We wanted to take short hikes with our dog which was no problem here. Altausee is very close and is a marvelous lake to hike around and swim or paddle across. Would like to visit again maybe in the winter as well.
