Some would say it’s a bit dated but I’d actually say it gives the whole place character. Holly, the host, was great with communication before and during my stay.

Beautiful cabin, clean and comfy and on a nice little park which has something for everyone! The beach is so close and is absolutely stunning.

I booked it super last minute (the day before literally) and it was the only place available for the long weekend. We’re visiting from Toronto for work but didn’t realize it was a holiday here! Nonetheless, we thought the rate was a bit extreme but since it was the only available place we did it without doing any research. Boy are we SO GLAD it worked out that way. Our stay was probably the highlight of our 3 weeks stay in Australia. This lodge has ocean views, kangaroos AND koalas! the sunrise with kangaroos was STUNNING. We found it busier with the kangaroos during sunset most. The place is huge, so well done. Everything honestly…. Was jaw dropping. We LOVED it. And though it was a random fluke that we booked this place, it was the best fluke of our whole trip to Australia!!

Each unit is fitted with a fridge, microwave, a coffee machine, as well as a toaster and kettle. There is a private bathroom with shower in all units, along with free toiletries and a hairdryer. The home itself was so lovely, warm and homely! Vita, one of the hosts, had made the stay as simple as possible, setting up the fireplace and everything else we needed within the home! I wish we had more time here since there's lots to explore around the property! A breath of fresh air from the city, absolutely loved this place! Would be more than happy to make the trip to stay again!

A microwave, a stovetop and toaster are also provided, as well as a kettle. We loved our anniversary get away, we loved turning up and seeing there was a little hot tub. The gentleman that lives there was so nice as well.

The Eco Retreats are a unique bush experience in a South African Safari tent set on an elevated floor with kitchenette, private ensuite, smart TV, deck, BBQ and a communal outdoor fire pit to enjoy. We were a family of 6, 2 grandparents sleeping in one of the Eco retreats and 2 parents with 2 kids sleeping in another one. The place is like a big tent standing in a wood platform but with all the luxuries of a regular apartment. We got there in the afternoon and a couple of Kangaroos were standing just in front of the place. The landscape around the place is beautiful, and the tents have something special. They also have nice firework places, a volleyball net, a little playground… our kids had so much fun. Also, we were there in June, and even though it was quite cold outside we were quite comfortable inside with a little heater and electric blankets. Nice place!

The location was perfect for exploring the otways and the great ocean road. Waking up to Kangaroos outside our window, having a beautiful bath at the end of every day. More than enough room for 6-8 people to have their own space and nicely come together too.
