Each of the unique cabins at Cradle Mountain Highlanders has cosy interiors, including a fireplace. All cabins are lined with beautiful Tasmanian timber and most cabins have full kitchen facilities. Some units have a luxurious spa bath and mountain views. This is a very sweet cabin nestled in the forest with amazing animals all around. We were visited by pademelons and black currawongs every morning. Very comfortable beds, very clean, warm and comfortable, reception staff welcoming and helpful and attentive, super close to transport bus to park and information centre, so relaxing and cozy. We loved it!

The chalet offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. This place was amazing. Every detail is thought of. We would definitely recommend it. It was all perfect. A suggestion might be to include some breakfast provisions as part of the accommodation

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. Strahan Wilderness Lodge was easy to get to if you have a vehicle. The shared dining room area and kitchen has a lovely view of the water and Strahan across the bay. The Wilderness Lodge was clean and furnished well. it ws a quiet and comfortable place to stay. The couple running it are friendly and helpful.

Didn’t really know what to expect as it was our first time “ glamping” . It exceeded our expectations . The unit itself is as comfortable as any hotel room , large bed , frig etc etc , with the bonus of being set right in the vineyards ..A nice deck with firepit adds to the total experience . Add to this the delicious wines of the swinging gate winery , and most of the hosts / winery owners Hannah and Corrie which couldn’t do enough to insure our stay was perfect . Such a warm welcome ; wine tasting and provided info on the area ; and to top it off they arranged to deliver pizza. Pizza , wine and great hosts.. doesn’t get much better !

Sheep and goats to watch. Great outdoor area.

The unique location there allows us to experience the quiet atmosphere and to live in the nature with wild animals hanging around just outside the lodge. We also saw the spectacular view of lake and mountains, beautiful sunset and galaxy at night. These two nights definitely will be at our heart forever.
