When touring Lake Titicaca, spending a night or more on Isla del Sol is an experience you don’t want to miss. Trust me! Visitors should know that life on the island is calm and rustic — there are no cars and you’ll be walking up and down steep paths — so come prepared for simplicity and peace rather than luxury. If you embrace the slower rhythm, this place is truly unique and unforgettable.

The location is amazing with views across lake Titikaka to the Bolivian mountains. My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and the whole experience will be one I remember with fondness for a very long time.

Exceptional view and very well finished and decorated property. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. They pointed out a great place to eat in the evening and supported us to plan the next walking route. It is worth pulling the curtains early to see the sunrise! Wow! The shower was warm and there is a small heater in the room and some blankets (it is very cold at night) Breakfast is good and even better sitting eating it with that spectacular view. There is a small shop run by the owners for woolen souvenirs, drinks and snacks.
