El Alto International Airport is 147 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. A perfect spot, in a quieter area, for a few days on the island. You get a gorgeous view. Make sure to get up for sunrise. The hosts are amazing and friendly. The beds are huge and super comfy. I could only get warm-ish water, but it was fine for me after hiking all day. The breakfast was delicious! Amazing bread, freshly squeezed juice and eggs. The dinner was also delicious, get the trout, you will not be disappointed. The wifi is really good. Definitely recommend. Would absolutely come back again.

The boats that leave Copacabana to the island of the sun, leave at 8.00am and at 01.30pm This was by far our best stay in Bolivia - the room is outstanding and the views are simply amazing. We got both breakfast and dinner in our room which was also very delicious. We do not understand the negative comments about the location. It is easy to reach from the closest harbour and every accomodation on the island involves some walking. You don’t get these views from being directly on the harbour

If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings. Confortable place, not that high in the island and the service was excellent, good food. The view was awesome. They helped us with the transfer from El Alto airport, boat and tours around the Sun Island and Moon Island. Very recommended.

If you want what is arguably the best view on Isla del Sol right from your hotel room then look no further 🤩 – the room was also nice and warm, with a comfortable bed. The location of the hotel is also excellent, especially if you're doing the popular "2 day / 1 night Copacabana + Isla del Sol" itinerary, as you can easily hike the south part of the island on the first day, and then do the south–north through hike (or the opposite) on the second day. The host can even help you with luggage logistics for a small fee in case you're pressed for time due to the boat schedules. Plus, the price even included breakfast which was great!
