The location was excellent, the view outstanding, and the cabin was cozy and comfy. The bed was soft, linens and pillows so comfortable, the temperature was easily regulated, and the little kitchen had everything we needed for our two-night stay. We were able to snowshoe right from our cabin door and warm up in the fabulous hot tub after, under softly falling snow. Very quiet, easy to find, and just a little gem in the mountains, perfect for a winter wonderland weekend getaway.

The accommodation features a hot tub and a spa bath. Amazing hot tub with views. Heaps of space. Incredibly comfortable beds. The fireplace was sensational and to top it off - the staff had already pre prepared the fire for us! We just had to light it!! Communication was brilliant throughout with self check in.

We wish we stayed longer! But we stopped here just one night to break up a long drive. Seems like an amazing place to stay during the ski season. Check-in/check-out were easy.

Geared towards relaxation, there is no television in the bedrooms but a TV, some card/board games and mini library and fireplace is available in the communal area.

Kindly note that the main lodge is not pet-friendly due to the built. Only the chalet that is located just across the main lodge is pet friendly. The Alpine Meadows Lodge is a lovely hotel in Golden. Its position is perfect for exploring most of the national parks of the Canadian Rockies, as Golden is located between the Glacier and Yoho National Parks, and it is still not far from Banff and Jasper National Parks. The hotel is built in a traditional mountain style, it is clean and very nicely made and furnished. Medha, the owner and manager, as well as the staff are superfriendly, kind, and very attentive :) There is always access to the room where you can have tea and coffee at any time of the day. It is strongly recommended as base to explore this beautiful area of Canada.
