The actual apartment we stayed in was very clean and modernised, and we had everything we would need to cook, clean, shower, sleep, etc. There were some very nice restaurants close by so we could go out to eat or make food in the kitchen. Overall, it was a very nice experience. I would recommend and would go again."

However, this incredible Chalet was easily the best accommodation in the entire trip. It is located in a quiet corner of Grindelwald but super easily accessible via the local bus, which runs every 30 minutes. The house is located in such a scenic location, right next to the Eiger and other incredible mountains, with green rolling fields. The host is the most amazing, friendly and warm person you'll ever meet. The location is great as it's a little further away from the main Grindelwald center. But this is perfect as. you enjoy the absolutely spectacular views from here and the bus takes you straight to Grindelwald and Grindelwald Terminal (for the Eiger Express) and other locations, so it's super convenient to get anywhere. There is a restaurant 5 minutes away (though I wouldn't recommend it), but if you walk a little bit more (around 15 mins), there are other options. I would recommend getting some food from the grocery store as the kitchen is perfect! I am so glad that I ended up selecting this incredible charming place since it was absolutely perfect!
