Robert was an excellent host, who also included me to hang out with some of his friends and family that were visiting him at the lodge. He arranged all my activities for me and was very flexible. Also the breakfast, lunch and dinner were great. It was more like visiting a friend than staying at a hotel.

One of the cabins additionally has a private sauna made from a wooden barrel. Cabañas Kauken is an experience. The quite view, the sunset, the hot bath, the confort installations, and the anticipation David, the admin, had to book day trekkings, taxis, and even food delivery (after a day trekking, a hotbath with food were waiting for us) was just priceless.

Great location. Our room was perfect for four people with four individual twin beds. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location was great.

The owner & staff were very helpful organizing transfers to & from Puerto Williams, bicycles & kayaking, whale watching and glacier visits, laundry services etc. Dinners were well prepared and of good quality. Really nice cocktail bar. Perfect place to slow down and enjoy the nature.
