Maria’s son greeted us at the airport and made sure we were looked after our whole trip, thank you for such an amazing time. Cannot recommend enough!

Offering free WiFi and a garden, Cabañas & Hostal Tojika is situated in Hanga Roa, 1.8 km from Tahai. Hanga Roa Anthropological Museum is 2.1 km from the property. It's a wonderful place in a great location. Ximena and everyone there were very helpful. It's the perfect place if you plant to be all day around Easter Island, cook your own food, and like to relax with the sound of the waves.

Casa Wilson is an ocean front property offering both rooms and a cabin in Zapallar. There is direct beach access by coastal path, just a 3-minute walk. A beautiful old property (one of the oldest in Zapallar and full of eccentricities and antiques) in a stunning location. Right next to the protected peninsula (wonderful for exploring to hear and really feel the sea) and also to one of the best seafood restaurants in Chile, Chiringuitos. The owner is welcoming and full of stories about the history and surroundings. He organised a small boat trip to the nearby penguin island. The best sleep I had in Chile too, listening to the sea at night.

However it desperately needs air con as u cook inside the pods. The fan was almost non existent in the brutal heat. The staff were excellent but u need translation as English is not spoken. Pick up and drop off to the airport was very welcome. If u want to be close to the action tho, it’s not for you. Half hour walk to town in the heat isn’t doable. You need a car or scooter. It’s off the beaten track. The pool is a bonus but if ur in Easter island surely u won’t be laying around a pool at any time

Beds were comfortable . Staff was extremely helpful . Value was great too
