Martin was attentive and often asked how things were. Conveniently they had a motorbike of good quality for rent. He also helped by picking me up an evening when I was further away, and drove me to airport on his bike. There is a small nice beach close by. I prolonged several times with more nights.

Excellent accommodation slightly north of the San Luis Beach area. It's about a 20 minute "golf cart" ride from El Centro. This is a two-bedroom, two-bath, second floor apartment that the host rents to island guests as a "shared unit." Fortunately for me, the other room and bath was not rented, so I had the whole apartment for myself. The place has a fully functional and equipped shared kitchen (including cooking spices and dishwashing soap), my own bathroom, my own bedroom and AC unit I can control separately. They also clean and collect trash every other day. Elizabeth and Luis are excellent hosts. They made me feel welcomed and appreciated throughout my stay. I highly RECOMMEND staying at Lodge Elizabeth House when visiting San Andres Island. This is especially for anyone who wants to be away from the often crowded and noisy El Centro area.

It was great to stay at Fabi's place, I've stayed there for 10 days, Sandra was really helpful and kind, as well her husband, Fabi, it's was lovely to meet her little boy. I stayed with them for 10 days and on the last day they invited me for dinner, we had a traditional island food, it was delicious. Thank you so much for everything! I highly recommend staying at their place.
