The food in the restaurant where we had breakfast was also great, and the service was great.

The surroundings and ambiance, the constant sound of the stream running right next to our open room, the different birds chirping all the time, the loose and relaxed approach of Polo and the rest of the staff, but extremely professional. The food presentation and flavours were marvellous and the chocolate Polo makes, exquisite. And of course Sildo and his helpful donkey.

We stayed in the cabaña overlooking the ocean with no walls/window and it was an amazing experience. The bed is comfortable and it was just lovely listening to the waves and waking up watching the ocean. We stayed for one night only and I would have wished we stayed for at least two. Although if I stayed longer than that I would probably chose and more conventional hotel room. The area is absolutely beautiful and we saw lots of birds, iguanas and a cayman from the grass terrace. The pool is also lovely.

Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge by Mareygua is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino. Great staff, beautiful views over the park and delicious food, we would absolutely come back!

The hostel far exceeded our expections with a wonderful greeting from our host, Carmen, who was always happy, smiling and helpful. Due to the price we paid, we expected a much cheaper feeling, but everything from the facilities to the personnel was excellent. While there's no food on the premises a small restaurant very nearby has one of the best menus of the day, we've had in Colombia! The breakfast on site was per plate instead of a buffet, which meant it was freshly made.

She arrange transport, boat trips for us and also recommended restaurants - both of which were AMAZING. She is really friendly and welcoming.

This is a beautiful house with outstanding Mountain Views. You can see the dedication of the owner on every detail. It has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. Premium mattress and linens, hot water, tasteful decorations and lots of small details. Yuca restaurant is a few steps away and we enjoyed great breakfast and dinners. Tayrona Park is 10 minutes walking distance.

The cabins are beautiful and luxurious with amazing views in the heart of nature. The hosts always went above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and having a nice stay. The breakfast was amazing, and Helmut and Fiona are wonderful chefs.

The rooms are separate buildings amongst the trees so it felt very private. The views of the surrounding mountains and greenery are stunning. Everything was clean. The pool and common area are great as well! We were particularly grateful for the help and friendliness of the staff - they were amazing! The food offered by the lodge (breakfast and dinner) is great but there are also other restaurants nearby to switch things up. It is close to the Tayrona entrances, which was great! We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.
